Paulo Teixeira Costa

Biography

Paulo Teixeira Costa is a professor in higher education, researcher, trainer, and consultant in the fields of Marketing, Tourism and Planning and Management of Major Events, and a PhD student in the Tourism Doctoral Programme at the University of Aveiro (Portugal). In 2019 he obtained the title of Specialist Professor in Marketing and Advertising, and in 2021 the title of Specialist Professor in Tourism. From 2002 to 2017 he was the councillor for Tourism, Culture and Marketing at the municipality of Ílhavo, in Portugal. He is a member of the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP) and UNIDCOM/IADE. His topics of interests includes Tourism; Marketing; Co-Creation; Touristic Experiences.

Paulo Teixeira Costa é professor no ensino superior, investigador, formador e consultor nas áreas de Marketing, Turismo e Planeamento e Gestão de Grandes Eventos, e aluno de doutoramento no Programa Doutoral em Turismo na Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal). Em 2019 obteve o título de Professor Especialista em Marketing e Publicidade, e em 2021 o título de Professor Especialista em Turismo. De 2002 a 2017 foi Vereador do Pelouro do Turismo, Cultura e Marketing, entre outros, no município de Ílhavo, em Portugal. É membro da Unidade de Investigação em Governança, Competitividade e Políticas Públicas (GOVCOPP) da Universidade de Aveiro e do UNIDCOM/IADE. Os seus temas de interesse incluem Turismo; Marketing; Co-criação; Experiências Turísticas.
