From Mexico City, Medicine Doctor in 1987 by the Escuela Superior de Medicina, IPN, México |Pathologist in 1995 by the Facultad de Medicina, UNAM, and Hospital General de México, Secretaría de Salud, México | Eye Pathologist in 2000 by the Asociación Para Evitar la Ceguera en México (APEC), IAP, México | Master in Medical Research in 2006 by the Facultad de Medicina, UNAM, México | Doctor in Molecular Pathology by the Facultad de Medicina UNAM of Instituto de Ciencias Biomédicas, UNAM, México in 2015. Worked as Pathologist and Eye Pathologist in APEC in México between 1992 to 2002. Pathologist in Hospital General Regional No. 25 (HGR 25) for the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) between 2001 and 2007. Head of Patology in HGR 25, IMSS between 2008-2010. Coordinator of Medical Programs in the Laboratorio Central de Epidemiología of the Centro Médico Nacional La Raza , División de Laboratorios de Vigilancia e Investigación Epidemiológica (DLVIE), IMSS between 2010 to date. Teaches several courses at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM, and Postgraduate in Public Health Nursing, IMSS. Author of more than 23 scientific publications, 2 teaching subjects in ocular pathology. Director of five medical specialty thesis. Member of the Mexican Council of Pathological Physicians CA and the Mexican College and Association of Pathologists.
