Biography
Dr. Peter Pantya is an associate professor at the National University of Public Service, Faculty of Law Enforcement, Institute of Disaster Management, Department of Fire Protection and Rescue Control (Budapest, Hungary). He specializes in tactics of firefighting, technical rescue, the technical equipment, PPEs and in safety of intervention units. He was firefighter, human manager and technical-safety officer in various fire departments and disaster management branch.
Pantya holds human manager , disaster manager and firefighter college and university degrees.
In 2011 he made his PhD thesis at the Miklós Zrínyi National Defense University, Budapest, Hungary, titled “Hazard reduction of closed area fire interventions”.
In 2018 habilitated in the field of fire, disaster management, his thesis: "Raising the efficiency of the intervention units of disaster management, fire"
