Biography

Saienko Volodymyr Grygorovych was born on April 22, 1981 in Donetsk (Ukraine).
In 2003 I graduated from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko State Pedagogical University specializing in "Physical education and sport" and was qualified as a teacher of physical education, sports clubs head of school and after-school educational institutions. Specialist degree with honors АН No. 23369530.
From 2003 through 2004 I studied full-time master's degree in public administration of East Ukrainian Volodymyr Dahl National University specializing in "Administrative Management". Master’s Degree with honors АН No. 28540991.
From 2004 to 2007 I studied at the post-graduate school of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University in full-time training in the specialty 24.00.01 – "Olympic and professional sports". In 2008 I defended my thesis on "Training organization process of sportsmen of various qualifications specializing in kyokushinkai karate" in the State Research Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (Kyiv). PhD in Physical Education and Sports (Diploma ДК No. 048879), the decision made by Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated 08 October 2008 (Minutes No. 30-06 / 7). In 2009, the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine issued a supplement to the PhD diploma equal to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
Since 2005 I have worked part-time as an assistant of the department "Olympic and professional sport" at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Pedagogical University. Since October 2007 I have been elected a full-time employee in the position of an assistant of the department "Sports disciplines", and since March 2009 I have worked as a senior lecturer.
From February 2010 to September 2014 I worked as an Associate Professor of "Olympic and professional sport" department in Luhansk Taras Schevchenko University.
In 2011 I was awarded with the certificate of Associate Professor of Olympic and professional sports. Associate professor certificate 12ДЦ No. 028674. The decision made by Certifying council dated November 10, 2011 (Minutes No. 1/01-Д).
From December 2014 to August 2015 I worked as an Associate Professor of "Martial arts" department in Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture. From September 2015 I worked as an Associate Professor of "Olympic and professional sports" department in Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture.
Scientific activity
I am the author of over 300 scientific publications, including 7 monographs, 1 textbook approved by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, 3 manuals, scientific articles in Ukrainian, Russian and English languages published in specialized publications in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, United Kingdom, India. h-index 24.
I won the contest for young scientists in the "Cycle of scientific treatise" as of 2010 Luhansk Regional Council and Luhansk region State Administration. I am the winner of the "Young Scientist" 2010, 2011 and 2012 of Lihansk Taras Schevchenko National University. I am the winner of the contest on teaching work within 2011-2012 in the University of Luhansk.
From 2007 to 2016 I prepared more than 50 undergraduates in the specialty "Physical education and sport" for their defense. In 2014 I prepared 1 PhD in pedagogical sciences.
Sporting activities
Since 1994 I have practiced martial arts: karate, Thai boxing, martial arts, boxing. I am mainly specialized in Kyokushin Karate. I have successfully passed the certification for a black belt in Kyokushin Karate: 1 Dan (certificate number 03120 dated August 06, 2002), 2 Dan (certificate No. F2390 dated July 09, 2005), 3 Dan (certificate No. F3535 dated July 07, 2012).
The most significant results of competitions in Kyokushin Karate: European Championships in the heavyweight category (Poland, 2005) – 5th place; World Cup final in the heavyweight category (Australia, 2006) – 3rd place; III absolute world championship in the Open category (Japan, 2008).
In 2008 I was awarded the sports title "Master of Sports of Ukraine in karate" (certificate No. 1037, decree No. 3468 dated August 21, 2008).
In 2010 I was awarded the sports title "Master of Sports of international class in karate" (license No. 837, decree No. 3727 dated October 22, 2010).
Since 2000 I have been included in the composition of referees association in Kyokushin karate. At the international level I have been refereeing at competitions in Denmark, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine.
In 2012 I was awarded the title of "Judge of national category in kyokushinkaikan karate" (certificate No. 20 dated November 03, 2012), in 2013 "international judge in kyokushinkaikan karate" (certificate No. 0286 dated October 13, 2013).
