Biography

I recently completed my PhD in Genetics and Genomics at the Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). During my doctoral studies I also completed a two-year academic “Immunology Training Program” (ITP) predoctoral fellowship at BUSM. My doctoral dissertation thesis, “The Roles of Interferon Regulatory Factor 5 and Interleukin-1 Receptor-Associated Kinase 4 in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Pathogenesis”, focused on the contributions of two suspect genes to the pathogenesis of the autoimmune disease Lupus.
