Biography
Dr. Camila Will earned her master and PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 2020 and 2024 at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil. She got her Chemistry degree in 2018 at Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, Brazil. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at Universidade de São Paulo in the laboratory of the professor Fernando Mauro Lanças. Her research topics are sample preparation techniques, especially microextraction techniques and the use of magnetic ionic liquids as extraction phase, and chromatographic separation, especially regarding liquid chromatography. At the moment, her main goals are to develop porous layer open tubular columns for liquid chromatography in order to miniaturize liquid chromatography, reduce waste generation, improve chromatographic separations and combine this technique with mass spectrometry with electron ionization (LC-EI-MS).
