Biography

Dr. Martin Duque completed her doctorate at Madrid´s University Autonoma. During this period of her doctoral thesis, she participated in several training periods, in highly recognized centers such as the Department of Neuro- Oncology of the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, USA), or the IIB Alberto Sols-CSIC of Madrid.
She has made postdoctoral or sabbatical stays at the Molecular Oncology Unit, Cancer Research-UK, INSERM. Nantes University, Wake Forest University Institute of Regenerative Medicine (North Carolina, USA), Imperial College School of Medicine (London) or Cornell University (NYC, USA).
In 2002, she obtained one of the prestigious Ramón y Cajal contracts and joined the Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid), where she coordinated a master's degree in advanced therapies with the figure of assistant professor until 2017. In September 2007, she obtained a position as ARAID Researcher at the IACS, where she started in October 2008 until 2021, when she obtained her Professor posititon at Zaragoza´s University. She is now Full investigator at Institute of Health Carlos lll (ISCIII)
