PhD student in Health at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Master in Nutrition Science at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). Graduated in Nutrition from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Main areas of research: gut microbiota and its metabolites in health and disease, with a focus on mechanisms of action involved in the gut-microbiota-brain axis and microbiota and colorectal cancer. Areas of interest: Gut microbiota; gut-microbiota-brain axis, bacterial metabolites, short chain fatty acids, probiotics, kefir, prebiotic, posbiotic, genomics, epigenetic, and biochemistry applied to nutrition
