Biography

Yukun Lu received her Ph.D. in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2023. She is now working in the Mechatronic Vehicle Systems Laboratory (https://uwaterloo.ca/mechatronic-vehicle-systems-lab/) as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Associate. She is currently focusing on Vehicle Dynamics and Control, Intelligent Suspension Systems, (Learning-based) Optimal Control Strategies, and Wheel Corner Module. She has developed various chassis control algorithms for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and truck cabins. Her research is successively transferred to industry applications, patents, and publications.
