Zhanat Kappassov

Biography

Zh. Kappassov received the Engineering degree in Radioengineering from the University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics, Tomsk, Russian Federation in 2011. He has worked at Nazarbayev University (NU), Astana, Kazakhstan in the position of a research assistant. He obtained PhD from Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics at University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France. He is currently a PI of tact.nu.edu.kz laboratory and serves at NU in the position of an Assistant Prof. His research interests include robotic manipulation, tactile sensing, robot control, and haptics.
