Biography
I am Assistant Professor in Economic Policy and Development at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade where I was previously a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow. I am also a research associate at the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) – Sciences Po, Paris. I hold a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). During 2022, I was a Wayne Vuchinich Fellow at Stanford University in California. I am the Vice President of the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies (EACES) since September 2022. My main research area is the political economy of globalisation and socio-economic development in the post-socialist semi-periphery, with a focus on gender, inequalities, welfare state reforms, and most recently small and medium enterprises. I have published in Social Politics, Europe-Asia Studies, Stato e Mercato, and contributed to notable academic volumes and handbooks, including those published by the OUP. My work received the Early Career Researcher Award from SASE, best PhD thesis award from EACES, and LSE Research on Southeast Europe best paper award. My secondary research area is on epistemic justice and non-hegemonic knowledge production.
