Biography

Professor Xinmin Chen was born in Xishui, Hubei Province on January 21, 1972. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from School of Astronautics of Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics (BUAA) in 1995, and graduated from China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) with a master degree in 1998, and he was pursuing a doctoral degree at CALT from 2004 to 2010. In CALT he successively served as assistant engineer, engineer, senior engineer (2005) and chief engineer (2010). He has been under the supervision of Academician YU Menglun of Chinese Academy of Sciences for many years and has expertise in flight mechanics and aircraft designs.
