Biography

Md. Moyazzem Hossain, PhD is an applied statistician and a data scientist who has experience in both developing and applying new approaches, models, and technologies. Hossain started his teaching career as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT), Mirpur, Dhaka in 2008 and served until joining at Islamic University, Kushtia. Before joining Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka as an Assistant Professor in 2014, he served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, Islamic University, Kushtia from 2010 to 2014. Currently, Hossain is working as a full-time faculty of Statistics and Data Science at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.

In addition to teaching, Hossain enjoys research activities. As a result, he has published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals published by world-renowned publishers. He is also engaging in different research activities and the potential research findings will be published soon. Moreover, he served as a volunteer reviewer and member of the Editorial Board of different international journals.
