Biography

Ekrem Čolakhodžić was born on April, 25th 1968. in Presjeka, Nevesinje municipality. He completed primary and secondary education in Mostar. In academic 2002/03. year he enrolled Faculty of Education - Department for Sports and Health at University „Džemal Bijedić“ in Mostar, and graduated on July, 21st 2006. with the highest grade – 10, thesis titled „Biomechanics of Movement in Football“ and acquired professional degree – Professor of Sports and Health. In 2006/07 enrolled postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Sarajevo and graduated on June, 18th 2008. with thesis: „Transformational Processes in Morphological Characteristics and Motorical Abilities of Football Players of 12-15 Years of Age“ thus acquiring academic degree Master of science in Sport and Physical Education. On July, 2nd 2010. acquired academic degree Doctor of Science in Sport at the Faculty of Education, University „Džemal Bijedić“ in Mostar. The doctorate thesis „The Differences in Dimensionality of Development Characteristics and Motoric Abilities of Junior Football Players at Different Competition Levels“ was supervised by professor Izet Rađo, PhD. On October, 4th 2010. advanced to positon of assistant professor (science field of Technology and Models in Sports) at Faculty of Education in Mostar. Founder and the first Chairman of The Faculty of Education Student Association. Member of the Presidency of Student Organization at the University „Džemal Bijedić“ in Mostar, as a Sports Coordinator of the University League Organizing Comittee. In academic 2009/10 appointed Head of the Department of Preschool Education. On October, 1st 2010. appointed Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Education in Mostar. Editor in Chief of the scientific-professional journal for sports Sportski logos, as well as a member of the Science Comittee of the scientific-professional journal Homosporticus and scientific-professional journal for education Educa. Published and presented scientific papers at numerous domestic and international congresses. Published four (4) books, thirty-six (36) science and ten (10) professional papers in sports, mostly in fields of Sports Training, Transformational Processes and Sport Games. Actively engaged in sports, especially in football. Played football since 1981., ended active career in 2000. Coach at the UEFA project „Open Fun Football Schools“, has a Danish School of Football diploma, UEFA coach licence (B and A diploma). Lecturer at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Association Coach Education Center. Member of the Board of Directors of the Mostar Sports Association. Lives and works in Mostar, married and father of two children. Fluent in German, and uses English. He uses various computer programs such as Microsoft Office, SPSS, STATISTIC.. etc.
