Biography

My current research interests include the development and characterisation of alternative plasmonic nanostructures, nanocomposites and hyperbolic metamaterials based on metals and doped semiconductors, especially gold, alternative plasmonic materials and Transparent Conductive Oxides (TCOs), synthetized mainly via Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD); in particular I'm focusing on designing electrical and optical properties of the nano-systems for energy, photonics and plasmon-enhanced applications.
