Biography

Gilberto Pérez-Sánchez is a Researcher at the Neuroscience department of the Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatría Ramón de la Fuente Muñíz, Mexico. He has a background in proteomics, molecular biology, and HPLC. His research focuses on the study of the neurochemistry and molecular neurobiology of psychiatric disorders. In particular, he has directed his efforts to the search for biomarkers of depression, schizophrenia, and fibromyalgia.
