Biography

I am Sayak Ray from India. I am a theoretical physicist working in the area of Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Mechanics in general, and specifically on the correlated phases and quantum phase transition of ultracold atomic gases. My research interest relies on nonequilibrium dynamics in quantum many-body systems, periodically driven systems. Many-Body Localization (MBL), Quantum chaos, thermalization, and application of random matrix theory (RMT) in many-body systems. I am currently the Humboldt Research Fellow at the Physics Institut of the University of Bonn in Germany.
