Biography

Mohammed Hicham HACHEMI was born in Tlemcen, Algeria. Throughout his academic journey, he has had the opportunity to visit several universities as part of his training. He obtained his State Engineer degree in Telecommunications from the University of Saida - Dr. Moulay Tahar, in 2007 (Algeria). In 2008, his final-year engineering project, "Detection of Gas Leakage via SMS," was selected for the casting of the edutainment TV show "Stars of Science" in Tunisia, ranking among the top 16 inventions in the Arab world. He received his Magister degree in Electronics from the Doctoral School of Sciences, Information Technology, and Telecommunications at Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel Abbes, in 2011 (Algeria). Since 2012, he joined the STIC Laboratory at the University of Abou Bekr Belkaïd (UABT), Tlemcen (Algeria), where he completed his Ph.D. in Telecommunications in 2017.

Starting in 2017, he took on the role of Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Science and Technology of Oran - Mohamed Boudiaf (USTO-MB), Algeria, and was promoted to Habilitated to Direct Research (HDR) in 2022 at the same University. Notably,he ranked first in the Telecommunications specialty, as recognized by the Western Regional Commission for University Accreditation in Electrical Engineering of Algeria.

His current research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, autonomous vehicles, cognitive radio, signal prediction, 5G & beyond, 6G, unmanned aerial vehicles, tracking, adaptive filtering, mobility management, signal processing in mobile communications, optical applications for telecommunications, design and analysis of 5G & beyond antennas, and optoelectronics.
