Biography

Zhiyuan Zhong is a Distinguished Professor and Dean of College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and International College of Pharmaceutical Innovation of Soochow University and Associate Editor of the Journal of Controlled Release. He has published 320 papers with >26000 citations (H-Index 87). He is on the board of Mater. Today, Biomacromolecules, ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering, PLoS One, J. Biomater. Sci. Polym. Ed., and Mater. Today Chem., and Chair of Symposia on Innovative Polymers for Controlled Delivery (SIPCD). He has received Biomacromolecules/Macromolecules Young Investigator Award (ACS), Bessel Research Award (Humboldt Foundation), Award for Breakthrough Technologies in Drug Delivery Systems in Asia (Japanese Society of DDS), Jiangsu Specially-Appointed Professorship, National Ten Thousand Talent Project, and National Outstanding Young Scholar Award. He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) and a Highly Cited Researcher in 2018-2023 (Clarivate Analytics).
