Biography

Weihua Jiang received his Ph.D. in Marine Physics at Xiamen University, Xiamen, China in 2020. From 2018 to 2020, he was a visiting student with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA. He was a winner of the Best PhD Thesis Award in Fujian Province in 2021. In 2021 and 2022, he was a postdoctoral researcher with the acoustic and navigation laboratory, University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel. From 2023 to 2024, he was an Associate Professor with the School of Ocean Engineering and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai, China.

He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Ocean and Earth Sciences, Xiamen University, Xiamen, China. His research interests focus on underwater acoustic communication and network.
