Biography

Saifur Rahman Chowdhury is a PhD student (Clinical Epidemiology) at McMaster University. He achieved a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2020 from North South University, Bangladesh. He completed another MPH degree in Community Medicine in 2018 from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He achieved his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh in 2017. He worked as a Lecturer (Epidemiology and Research Methodology) at Begum Rabeya Khatun Chowdhury Nursing College, Bangladesh for the period of April 2018 to August 2021. He has become well-versed in conducting in-depth clinical research and analyzing data using statistical tools R, Python, and STATA. His research interest is in evidence-based medicine (systematic review and meta-analysis), research methods, and epidemiology.
