Biography

Dr. Mohammad Ghasemi is a Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Arcus Biosciences. Prior to this role, he worked at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Buffalo, NY) where he supported research and preclinical/clinical drug development by handling requests for PK/PD analyses of anticancer drugs. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and has carried out postdoctoral research in systems pharmacology at Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of SUNY at Buffalo. His current responsibilities at Arcus Biosciences include providing clinical pharmacology supports and the use of advanced PK/PD modeling and simulation methodologies to optimize doses, dosage regimens, and study designs for small molecules and biotherapeutics in clinical development.
