Biography
Hu-Chen Liu received the M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2013. He is currently a Professor at the School of Economics and Management, Tongji University. His main research interests include Quality and Reliability Management, Hospital Operation Management, Fault Detection and Diagnosis, and Petri Nets Theory and Applications.
Dr. Liu is the author of numerous technical papers, which have appeared in journals including IIE Transactions, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, Quality and Reliability Engineering International, International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Health Policy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Soft Computing, Applied Soft Computing, Expert Systems with Applications. He is a member of the INFORMS, the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, the IEEE Transactions on Reliability, the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology and the Japan Ergonomics Society.
