Biography

I have been associated with the marketing field for over the last 12 years. After graduating in business, I joined IGI Insurance as Assistant Manager (Sales & Mktg) and worked there for around 5 years. Later on. I joined National University of Modern Languages (NUML) as Lecturer of Marketing in the Management Sciences department in 2012, later promoted as Assistant Professor. Meanwhile, I completed my Masters in Management Sciences (MS-MS) by writing a thesis exploring the Consumer Behavior in fashion products. I served NUML for around 8 years. During that time, I received a Doctoral Scholarship from JCU Australia. My research work in PhD focuses on the broader picture of Green Marketing, specifically focusing on Sustainable Consumer Behavior Related to Choice and Use of alternative fuel vehicles. I have published key findings of my work in various journals including Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Hospitality Marketing and Management, Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and many others. In 2021, I left NUML and joined Charles Darwin University, Australia as Senior Lecturer in Business. Later I joined University of Wollongong as Lecturer in Marketing and currently serving there.
