Biography

Dr. Angelina Misso is a Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. She holds a PhD in Communications and Network Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She joined UDSM in 2010 as an academic member of staff. She is a young researcher with interests in innovation, wireless communication technologies, and eLearning. She has published in the area of massive MIMO antennas and innovation in conferences and journals. Angelina has been engaged in several collaborative research projects and consultancies.

Angelina is also a coach at the UDSM ICT Incubator (UDICTI) where she trains and mentors university students in idea development and business establishment in the ICT field. She is engaged in promoting innovation among the youth, to encourage more young people engaged in solving challenges in society using local ICT solutions that can be easily adopted by the market. She is a believer in youth empowerment through innovation and entrepreneurship.
