Biography
Dr. Melisa Pesoa-Marcilla is Architect graduated from the National University of La Plata (Argentina) and PhD in Urbanism from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She is Associate Proffesor and is adjunct director for research of the Department of Urbanism, Territory and Landscape (DUTP) at the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB). She has previously held a postdoctoral research position at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET, Argentina). She has published numerous articles in specialized scientific journals and book chapters on topics related to history, analysis and urban morphology, territorial planning, and cultural landscapes. She has co-directed five doctoral theses. She has been a visiting professor at several universities in Europe, Asia, and South America.
