Biography

Dr. Ahmed Elgarahy is a research scientist with a Ph.D. in Environmental Biotechnology (Water and Wastewater Treatment) at 2020. He is currently conducting research in areas such as Environmental Chemical Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology, Water Environmental Engineering, Wastewater treatment, Bioenergy, Resources Conversion, Sustainable Management, Biomass Valorization, Food/Plastic waste recycling, Green fuel, Carbon Capture, Storage, Utilizations, and Hydrogen production. Dr. Elgarahy has reviewed more than 250 research articles for 91 international journals. Moreover, he has published more than 70 articles related to the mentioned topics in high ranked international journals, contributed in numerous national/international conferences, and received certifications in various areas related to his work, including process safety management and EMS training. Furthermore, he worked as Co-Investigator in different projects with well-known universities. In addition, he worked as an international technical trainer for several international companies such as ADNOC, UAE regarding carbon capture, utilizations, and low carbon development. He has achieved several international certificates such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Aspen Certified User, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, etc. In addition, he is a section head with about 16 years of Experience in the Petrochemicals Industry (Propylene and Polypropylene Plant with a Production rate of 350000 tons/year) especially in (Utilities and Offsites) units. He is specialized in plant optimization to maximize profitability by increasing product quality, and product quantity, reducing company utilities, increasing process unit efficiencies, enhancing plant safety, maintainability, and reliability. He has a one and only duty, to maximize the profitability of the company in terms of circular economy, and sustainability.
