Biography

I am an educator, leader and inquirer of the world.

Through explorative methodologies, I seek to examine what it means for us to be human beings who exist, navigate and negotiate the physical and digital realm.

I am interested in the educational experiences and implications of a narrated and/or digital existence.

I contribute to conversations that may influence critical, connected and informed digital/pedagogical practices from an educational and sociopolitical perspective.

In the digital education space, I imagine and explore how teachers can be digital leaders who implement aspects of digital/virtual tools/resources/experiences to connect/educate their learners to/with the implications of living in dis/connected (digital/virtual) realities.

As a narrative inquirer, I examine the narrated stories/experiences of those who teach to appreciate the richness and depth of personal and professional lives.

With an interest in teacher education and professional/personal development (e.g. PD experiences such as professional teacher inquiry), I research to illuminate and imagine how we can work towards more humanistic visions of education.
