Biography

Kazutaka Furuse received his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Tsukuba, in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He was an R&D Engineer at RICOH Software Research Center from 1993 to 1996 and an assistant professor at the Ibaraki University from 1996 to 1999. Then he joined the University of Tsukuba as an associate professor until 2019. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Business Administration, the Hakuoh University. His current research interests include link analysis, scalable query processing, and data mining. He is a member of ACM, IEEE-CS, and DBSJ.
