Biography

Abel Muwumba Mukakanya was born in Eastern Uganda present day Iganga District on 27th November 1972. He got his early Primary Education at Wanyange Primary School, where he completed his Primary Leaving Examinations in 1983. He proceeded to Jinja College and sat for his Uganda Certificate of Education in i987. After which he sat for his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education at Kitante Hill Secondary School in 1992. He then joined Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo where he obtained an Ordinary Diploma in Water Engineering and Higher Diploma in Construction in the years 1994 and 1998 respectively. A few years later he returned to school to embark on an academic career that saw him work through from undergraduate to doctoral studies.
