Biography

Faiqa Maqsood is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive expertise in Deep Learning, Medical Image Processing, Machine Learning, Data Security, and Cryptography. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Computer and Artificial Intelligence at Zhengzhou University, China, specializing in Medical Image Processing and Deep Learning. Her doctoral thesis focuses on "Artificial Intelligence-based Kidney Cancer Grading Using Medical Images," for which she has achieved a commendable CGPA of 3.85/4.

Faiqa holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan, where she specialized in Smart Grid Security and Privacy. Her master's thesis, "A Fault Tolerant False Data Injection Attack Detection in Smart Grid using Fragile Watermarking Scheme," reflects her intense focus on security and privacy. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Islamia University Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

With over six years of professional experience, Faiqa has served as a Senior Lecturer at Superior University, Lahore, Pakistan, where she taught various undergraduate courses, including Information Security, Network Security, Cryptography, Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, and Operating Systems. In this role, she has been actively involved in curriculum development, student mentoring, and supervising final-year projects. Her commitment to academic excellence is further demonstrated by her active participation in research activities, including writing proposals, conference papers, and journal articles and engaging in ICT-related industry training.

As a Research Associate at COMSATS University, Faiqa organized and conducted programming labs and played a pivotal role in planning and organizing projects and research activities for master's students. Her research contributions have been recognized in several high-impact publications, including works on Artificial Intelligence-based Classification of CT Images, Breast Cancer Diagnosis using Deep Learning, and Cryptography.

Faiqa's technical skills encompass various programming languages, database platforms, tools, frameworks, and operating systems, making her a versatile professional. Her dedication to research, teaching, and technical proficiency continues to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
