Biography
Dr. Umashri Sundararaju is a final-year MBBS student at Government Medical College, Omandurar, Government Estate in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. From the start of her medical journey, she has shown a strong interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At the same time, she remains open to exploring other surgical fields, hoping to find the best fit for her skills and passion. Her willingness to consider diverse specialties reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact in medicine.
Her approach to research is rooted in curiosity and determination rather than the pursuit of exams or credentials. Though her start in research was challenging, she persevered and made the most of each opportunity. She now leads as a principal investigator on multiple projects across various medical domains. Though she started as a novice in the field of research, she has shown impressive growth and adaptability. She is learning quickly, taking on complex responsibilities with enthusiasm and persistence.
