Biography

I am a versatile healthcare professional with a strong academic background in public health, clinical research, and dentistry. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Debrecen, teaching courses in preventive medicine, public health, biostatistics and epidemiology. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am dedicated to conducting innovative research to advance our understanding of oral health and disease prevention as medical researcher at the University of Debrecen, specializing in epidemiology of oral diseases and oral malignant neoplastic disease, researching the causal relationship between these diseases and different sociodemographic, lifestyle and medical factors. In my previous role as a Clinical Research Associate, I oversaw the management of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to the International Conference on Harmonization Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) regulations and guidelines.

As a Clinical Research Associate, I demonstrated expertise in overseeing site initiation, executing monitoring plans, and ensuring meticulous documentation and verification of proper informed consent, investigator competencies, and sponsor standard operating procedure (SOP) adherence. I conducted comprehensive reviews of study protocols, investigator brochures, and case report forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trial data. I also verified timely and accurate adverse event reporting and monitored data quality, providing valuable insights for biostatistical analysis and final trial results.

Moreover, I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and provided key contributions to the study protocol writing process, demonstrating strong medical writing skills and comprehensive knowledge of clinical research methodologies.

As a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Health Sciences at the University of Debrecen, I am excited to continue pursuing my research interests in epidemiology of oral diseases, cancer epidemiology and statistical data analysis. I hold a Master's degree in Public Health and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems and clinical practices.

With my strong communication skills in English and Hungarian in addition to Arabic and German, I am dedicated to collaborating with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goals.
