Biography

I am an Experienced Clinical Scientist and Research Physician at the Centre of Human Drug Research, dedicated to advancing neurophysiological biomarkers to improve early drug trials. As part of my PhD research on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, I explore innovative approaches to profile drugs that target cortical excitability. In addition to my expertise in TMS, I also have experience in nerve and muscle excitability, giving me a broad range of knowledge and expertise in excitability biomarkers to bring to early phase drug development. My goal is to make biomarkers a core component of early-stage research, helping to lower costs, shorten development timelines, and, most importantly, accelerate the delivery of effective treatments to patients.
