Biography
Rabin Raut was born on 13th March 1994 in Dolakha, Nepal. From an early age, he showed a keen interest in science, which led him to pursue studies in veterinary science. After completing his intermediate studies at St. Xavier's College, Rabin enrolled in the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science at Tribhuvan University, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. During his undergraduate years, he developed a passion for research, particularly in animal health and welfare.
After his DVM, Rabin furthered his academic pursuits by completing a Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) from Agriculture and Forestry University in Nepal, focusing on innovative livestock management and sustainable agricultural practices.
In 2022, Rabin earned a Master of Science in Food and Animal Science from Tennessee State University, where he expanded his research skills and engaged in collaborative projects. His published journal articles cover diverse topics, including animal health, nutrition, and agricultural sustainability.
Currently, Rabin is pursuing a PhD in Poultry Science at Auburn University, where his research focuses on preharvest food safety and strategies to mitigate Salmonella in poultry. His dedication to advancing knowledge in animal health and food safety continues through his current academic endeavors and scientific contributions.
