Biography
Ana Sánchez-Kuhn (H-index 6, 113 cites since 2016) is Doctor in Psychology by the UAL and the Rovira i Virgili University, obtaining the highest qualification and mention cum laude. The topic of the Thesis was the administration of tDCS for the modulation of motor learning and inhibitory control and led to transference results through a Santander fellowship and a transference contract. She has participated in 10 funded research projects and has published 7 JCR articles (5 Q1, 1 Q2, 1Q3), 2 book chapters and a book about neuropsychological evaluation. She is member of the thematic networks oriented for cooperative research results in health (RICORS) - with the project "Cerebral Vascular Diseases” and Secretary of the Spanish Society for Comparative Psychology. In 2014 she did a research stay of 3,5 months at the Centre for Learning and Experimental Psychopathology of the University of Leuven (Belgium). Ana is bilingual of German-Spanish and has a C1 Cambridge level in English. She has more tan 40 works in conferences receiving 3 prizes. She has been reviewer of projects for the The Brain Fundation (Holanda) and the call for research promotion projects (PIN2021- II) of the University of Guadalajara (Mexico). In 2022 she gave a seminar on tDCS at the Translational Psychiatry Laboratory (Psiquislab), Universidad de Chile. She has given 535,6 hours of regulated teaching, of which 30 are from master studies, has tutorized 14 dissertation works and is co-directing 3 doctoral theses. She is part of 3 Innovation teaching projects. She has the Animal Handling Title of Experimentation (lFAPA, Category C) and the Certificate of Good Clinical Practices E6 (R2). She participates in scientific dissemination activities: Science Week, European Researchers Night and Women's Days in Neuroscience and has the Acreditation as a PhD Assistant, Professor at a Private University and Hired PhD by ANECA and DEVA.
