Biography

Doctor in Audiovisual Communication (URL) and philologist (UAB). Researcher of the CONinCOM research group (URL) since its inception, since 2014 she is part of the recognized research group DIGILAB, Media, Strategie and Regulation (URL). She coordinated the research group on Media Representations and Social Imaginaries (URL-UPF-UB-UPC) and is the main researcher of the research team "YouTube: youth and aspirational values" (URL-UPF-Campus Mataró-UB), which received a grant from the CAC in July '16. She has participated in more than 5 I& D& i, has collaborated in various investigations (Centro Reina Sofía) and has led competitive investigations, such as the aid of the State Pact for the prevention of gender violence (2018, 2019). His doctoral thesis, entitled Media representation and social perception of violence in fiction, received in 2009 the first CAC Award for Research on Audiovisual Communication.
