A B.Sc and M.Sc in Food Science and Technology (IAU, Iran) and a Ph.D. in Food Science & Technology-Food Biotechnology (USM,Malaysia).

My specific interest is in development of sustainable food for the future. My long-standing interest has been inextraction and characterization of food bioactive components from agricultural and animal by-products and interaction between protein and availability of bioactive agents like probiotics, antioxidants and bioactive peptides.However, I have developed a great appreciation for the extra ordinary power of the gelatin extracted from poultry as a research tool for bioactive components delivery (please see my publications).I have collaborated in four different projects in two countries (Malaysia and Iran).I have worked for 18 years at two universities as a lecturer and teaching laboratory technician at courses in food industry (general microbiology, food microbiology, foodanalysis, sugar technology, oils processing technology, dairy products, caning, food preservation principles, principles of foodfactory design). My interesting research area is production of healthy food using bioactive compounds. I am a self-motivated person. Have look at my Google Scholar and Web of Science profiles. I am publishing articles extracted from the dissertation and reviewing articles in a completely spontaneous and enthusiastic manner, in collaboration with other professors and students around world, every month.
