Biography
Elizabeth Bryan is a Senior Scientist at the International Food Policy Research Institute, where she conducts policy-relevant research on gender, sustainable agricultural production, climate-smart agriculture, small-scale irrigation, irrigation-nutrition pathways, and natural resource management, using mixed-methods. She currently leads the Gender, Climate Change, and Nutrition Integration Initiative (GCAN) and co-leads the Methods Module of the CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform. She has been a part of the ILSSI team since the start of the program and has led or contributed to publications on the linkages between small-scale irrigation, gender, and nutrition. She holds a doctorate in Agricultural Sciences from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Hohenheim, an M.A. in Development Economics from American University, and a B.A. in International Affairs from Wagner College.
