Biography

Dr. Abolghasem Yaghoobi is a distinguished full professor at the Department of Psychology, Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran, specializing in the psychology of exceptional children, learning disabilities, learning and motivation, positive psychology, moral psychology, and educational justice. He has authored several high-circulation books such as "Cognitive and Meta-cognitive Psychology," and "Learning Disabilities," and has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals including the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction, OMEGA - Journal of Death and Dying, and Journal of Modern Psychological Researches. Dr. Yaghoobi also serves as a reviewer for international journals like Current Psychology and Psychological Reports, and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Q1 Biquarterly Journal of Cognitive Strategies in Learning. He is a member of the editorial boards of various other journals, such as Iranian Journal of Learning and Memory, Iranian Evolutionary and Educational Psychology Journal, Psychological Research in Individuals with Exceptional Needs, Educational Psychology , Biannual Peer Review Journal of Clinical Psychology & Personality , Journal of Psychological Achievements. Dr. yaghoobi has received numerous Distinguished Researcher Awards and was recognized as a National Model Professor in Iran in 2024. Currently, he is focused on research in positive psychology and welcomes international collaboration.
