Personal information

Biography

I was born in Ahvaz, a southern city in Iran during the Iran-Iraq war. We moved to Karaj, a city near Tehran when I was 13. I learned English at Jahad Daneshgahi Private Institute, B.A. in translation at Karaj Islamic Azad University, and M.A. in English language teaching at the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. I was an English language teacher for many years. My Husband is DVM and has a Ph.D. in Food hygiene. My husband and I wrote a book entitled "Technical English for food hygiene students" which is now being taught in universities in Iran. We have two daughters and I am now a freelance translator. My hobby is sewing, art, and sustainable artwork and toys. My concern is environmental issues and I love to teach my children and other kids about the importance of our planet and the importance of sustainable resources.
