Biography

Mehdi Shakibaei is a Professor at LUDWIG-MAXIMILIANS-UNIVERSITY MUNICH, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Anatomy, Germany.

He earned his doctorate from Free University of Berlin, Germany, did his first postdoctoral at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, and second postdoctoral at the New York University, USA, and He earned his Habilitation from Free University of Berlin, Germany, where he was employed as Scientist till 2004.

His research interests include Inflammation, Musculoskeletal Tissue Engineering, chemosensitization of cancer by natural products, role of inflammatory pathways in cancer, their inhibition by plant derived compounds, identifying biomarkers for cancer management.

He is credited with 315 publications, more than 20,000 citations, h-index of 84. He edited more than 15 monographs.
