Biography

Physiotherapist. Born in Manresa (27/2/1978).
I love sports, reading, cinema, travelling, languages...

In 2004 I decided to study more about the Cognitive Therapeutic Exercise. It is a novel rehabilitation approach that considers that motor recovery cannot be dissociated from the perceptive and cognitive processes, the emotion, the empathy... I left my job as a traditional physiotherapist in my city and I went to Italy, in particular, at the most important center where I could learn about this approach, directly with the neurologist Carlo Perfetti. First, as an intern and then, with a grant, I lived one of the the most exciting experiences in my life. Nowadays, I am who I am because of this. Life is like this. Chances and changes.

I continue studying, I love Neuroscience. I have a Phd about motor recovery and motor learning related with the neurocognitive approach in patients with stroke.

I am working with patients affected by neurological diseases, to really see and feel what I am studying in books.
Moreover, with some colleagues we created the Spanish Association in Neurocognitive Rehabilitation (www.asociacionperfetti.com) in which we promote the study and the training in this approach. I am one of the few responsibles of teaching the Neurocognitive Therapeutic Exercise in Spain.
