Biography
José L. Arco-Tirado is a full professor at the Department of Developmental & Educational Psychology at the University of Granada (Spain) and a Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) member. He has twenty-five years of teaching and research experience in national and international research institutions and projects. Before entering the University of Granada he worked at the Provincial Center for Drug Addiction and the Andalusian School of Public Health. He currently teaches two undergraduate courses (Learning Disabilities, and Developmental Psychology) on a bilingual group at the Faculty of Education, and coordinates the Practicum on Bilingual schools in a Master's program. His research interests focus on English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), counseling, peer learning, self-regulation, public program evaluation, and Evidence in Education and Policy. He has published several books and articles in national and internationally recognized editorials and journals.
