Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of IAI, head of the laboratory "Intellectual systems of control and forecasting" of the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies, Republic of Kazakhstan
Galina Samigulina graduated Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after Lenin, the faculty of “Automation and Telemechanics” and received the specialty "Electrical Engineer" in 1987. In 1996 she passed her dissertation work on the specialty "Management in technical systems" at the Institute of Informatics and Management Problems (IIMP). In 2002, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Informatics, Computer Science and Management. In 2009 she passed her doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Mathematics on the specialty "Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods and Program Complexes". From 2009 till 2025 - the head of the laboratory "Intellectual systems of control and forecasting" of the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies.
Galina Samigulina developed a unique immune network technology for creation intelligent systems of complex objects forecasting and control in conditions of parameters uncertainty. Scope of activity: intelligent industrial automation systems, distance education systems for people with visual disabilities; molecular design of medicines with prescribed properties; forecasting the risks of complex investment projects, etc. There were published more than 400 scientific works in the near and far abroad (43 publications with the impact factor in WOS and Scopus), 6 monographs; 2 manuals, were received 21 author's certificates. In 2012, the Science Committee awarded with a scholarship for "Scientists who made an outstanding contribution to the development of science and technology." In 2017, she was awarded with a badge "For Merits in the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan". In 2021, Samigulina G.A. was awarded the title of Professor in the specialty "Informatics, Computer Science and Control".
