Biography

I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Anthropology at Emory University in spring 2018. My dissertation explored how ancient DNA can provide meaningful insights about specific questions motivated by archaeology using the Early Christian Period site of Kulubnarti in Sudanese Nubia as an example.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, where I occupy the interdisciplinary space between genetics and anthropology and work to foster the growth of a strong and lasting relationship between the two disciplines.
