Biography

I am a lecturer in the Geography Department, within the Wits School of Education. I completed my PhD in Assessment and Quality Assurance at the University of Pretoria, south Africa. I continued to work for the Department of Education for another five years, thereafter I joined the University of the Witwatersrand as a lecturer. My research is primarily situated in teaching and learning, curriculum, assessment, and professional teacher development domain. I have a strong background on teaching and learning issues, especially in secondary or high school. This is based on my experience of being a teacher for ten years. I have also being a Subject Adivisor for 13 years, on the subject Geography (Social Sciences).
