Biography

I am a Forest Engineer (2000) and a researcher at INRAE, France. I hold a PhD in Forest Sciences (Agroparistech, 2004 France). I served for five years as research associate at the French Forest Service (ONF), developing tools in silviculture (beech, mixed forests), managing experiments and integrating biodiversity preservation in management practices. At present, my main research focus on the frontiers of ecology and forest management. I am particularly interested in the development of concepts and methods linked to adaptive management and forest multifunctionality. I also work on the effect of tree size inequality on the productivity of pure and mixed forest stands.
