Biography

A graduate of the master's degree in physics and technical and information education and a doctoral degree in pedagogy at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. He passed the pedagogical practice of elementary and secondary schools in 2001 - 2006. Since 2005 he has worked as a lecturer at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Vocational Education of the Faculty of Education, MU. Since 2012 he has been cooperating with the Institute of Lifelong Learning of Mendel University in Brno, where he has been working as an assistant professor since 2017. He has specialized in the field of secondary technical education with a focus on technical fields. The subject of interest is current topics of the theory of education, quality in education, activity of pupils, problems of teaching technology and interconnection of theory and practice in vocational education. He is the author of three professional books and a number of domestic and foreign publications, especially articles in journals and proceedings, as well as textbooks and teaching materials.
