ORCID works with the research community and third party developers to identify opportunities for integrating ORCID identifiers in key systems and workflows, such as research information systems, manuscript tracking systems, grant application processes, and membership databases.  Integrating ORCID identifiers in local systems supports data exchange and enables automated updating of researcher profiles.
